About the Role:

Do you love the aroma of freshly brewed espresso and the artistry of handcrafted pastries? The Sicilian Baker is looking for a Barista & Bakery Counter Associate to join our team! In this role, you’ll craft high-quality coffee beverages, assist customers at the bakery counter, and support restaurant operations to ensure a seamless and delightful guest experience.

A Day in the Life:

As a Barista & Bakery Counter Associate , you’ll:

• Greet customers warmly, present drink menus, answer questions, and offer recommendations.
• Take guest orders while paying attention to details, ensuring accuracy and customization.
• Prepare high-quality espresso-based drinks, lattes, and specialty beverages following The Sicilian Baker's signature recipes.
• Serve beverages and bakery items with an aesthetically pleasing presentation.
• Monitor and restock bakery display cases, ensuring an appealing selection of baked goods.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation, including coffee and drink-making equipment.
• Assist with restaurant support as needed, helping maintain an exceptional dining experience for all guests.
• Follow all safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a clean and compliant workspace.

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience in a coffee shop, café, or restaurant preferred.
• Valid food handler’s card (or ability to obtain before starting).
• Strong customer service skills with an outgoing and friendly personality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently.
• Passion for coffee, espresso, and handcrafted beverages!
• A team player with a positive attitude, punctuality, and a commitment to hospitality.
