We are seeking an AV Programmer to join our growing team. The AV Programmer is responsible for developing, deploying, and troubleshooting control and automation code for integrated audio-visual systems.

The Programmer works closely with engineers, project managers, and field technicians, this role focuses on creating reliable and intuitive control experiences for commercial clients across corporate, education, healthcare, and government sectors.

The programmer must have great attention to detail, be a self-starter, and able to meet specifications and exceed client expectations.

This is a Hybrid position

Key Responsibilities

• DSP & Control System Programming- Build, Test, and Deploy programming QSYS, Crestron, AMX, and other AV systems
• Project Communication-Must be able to communicate clearly with the project team and the client
• Provide Support for Service Team- Must be able to troubleshoot and support systems that were designed and programmed by others
• Intuitive GUI Design- Must be able to create and deploy intuitive and creative GUIs to meet the project requirements
• Technical Drawing Expertise- Must be able to read and understand project AV and IT drawing packages
• Commission Support- Provide the Project Manager support during the commissioning and project turnover and training.

Skills & Experience

• Commercial AV Experience- 5+ Years experience programming commercial AV systems
• 3+ Years experience as a AV technician
• Knowledge of AV Technologies- Extensive knowledge of commercial AV technology for Conference Rooms, Auditoriums, and Command & Control
• Programming Skills- Must be certified QSYS 2 and fluent in programming large QSYS systems over $250,000 in budget
• Communication Skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with project team and clients
• Technical Proficiency-Able to read and understand AV, IT, and Construction Drawing Sets
• Business acumen- Ensures programming time stays under project budget
