We are looking for a dedicated Attorney with expertise in Family Law to join our client's team in Boston, Massachusetts. This position involves handling complex legal matters, including litigation, settlement negotiations, and court proceedings. As a Long-term Contract role, it offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your experience in high-stakes cases while working in a dynamic and detail-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in Family Law cases, including divorce, custody, and probate matters.

• Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other court documents.

• Manage discovery processes effectively, ensuring all relevant information is collected and analyzed.

• Negotiate settlements and draft agreements tailored to clients' needs.

• Advocate for clients in Probate and Family Court, including handling trials and motion hearings.

• Provide guidance on complex financial disputes and high-conflict custody cases.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and develop effective legal strategies.

• Address appellate matters related to Family Law and probate cases.

• Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to maintain accurate legal documentation and correspondence.

• Stay updated on legal developments in Family Law and apply them to cases.

• A Juris Doctorate degree and active license to practice law in Massachusetts.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in Family Law practice.
• Proficiency in legal writing, research, and analysis.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience practicing before the Probate and Family Court, including trial and motion practice.
• Knowledge of divorce and custody law, including procedural and substantive aspects.
• Familiarity with litigation involving complex financial issues and high-conflict custody disputes.
• Preferred experience in appellate matters, estate administration, and litigation related to probate and trust matters.
