Salary: $16.50 - $21.45/Hour

A. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

• Provides clerical services and administrative support to the Day Program Services Program Manager such as general record keeping, implementation and tracking processes, data entry, program audits, database maintenance, typing and similar functions.

B. PRIMARY SCHEDULE:

• Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm with a 30-minute paid lunch. Days and hours may vary and include evenings, Holidays, and weekends, as needed.

C. SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

• Works under the supervision of the Day Program Services Program Manager.

D. SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

• N/A

E. QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school education. Some college or the equivalent of specialized business, or office administration / clerical skills.
• Current California drivers license, with an acceptable DMV printout and insurability, minimum of a 3-year driving history.
• Ability to pass a DOJ criminal background check.
• Ability to pass CPR and First Aid course.
• Strong computer skills and proficient in Excel and Word.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Establish and maintain a simple filing system.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with others.
• Ability to collaborate effectively.

F. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follows all procedure, policies, and guidelines of North Valley Services.
• Performs general office duties.
• Answers phones, transfer calls and/or takes messages.
• Types memos, letters and reports.
• Schedules meetings.
• Organizes and prepares for appointments and meetings.
• Updates and maintains files.
• Reviews and submits billings.
• Tracks client services for outcome reports.
• Orders supplies.
• Develops and maintains spreadsheets for various data gathering needs.
• Presents and maintains a positive and professional attitude and demeanor.
• Additional duties as assigned including, filling in at other sites or departments as needed.

• May have prolonged sitting.
• May have prolonged use of computer.
• May have prolonged use of phone.
• May have prolonged driving.
• May have prolonged standing.
• May lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel.
