Accounts Payable Specialist 
Newport Beach, CA
Onsite 4 days a week and remote Fridays once training is complete
Pay $26.00 to $27.00 per hour 

Position Overview:

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for an immediate opportunity to cover a leave of absence. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Process 100+ invoices daily, including both non-PO and PO invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile supplier invoices against purchase orders and apply goods received to vendor bills.
• Code and book invoices daily, manage weekly check runs, and maintain a supplier deposits ledger.
• Perform bank reconciliations and prepare journal entries in accordance with GAAP standards.
• Assist in month-end closing activities, financial audits, and maintain essential financial records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree is a plus
• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in accounts payable, preferably within the consumer products or e-commerce industry.
• Skills:
  • Strong Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs (highly preferred).
  • Familiarity with NetSuite ERP systems and or other relevant accounting software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage a large volume of tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new software and processes.
