Accounting Assistant
Homelegance NJ, Inc. – Cranbury, NJ
$19.00 – $21.00 per hour
Full-time | Day Shift

As our team continues to grow, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our finance and administrative operations.

Position Summary:
The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for assisting with basic accounting functions, with a strong focus on collecting payments from customers, recording transactions, and supporting accounts payable tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, responsible, and looking to build a long-term career in accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect cash, checks, and other payments from customers and properly document all receipts
• Record and reconcile daily deposits in accounting systems
• Process vendor invoices and support basic accounts payable functions
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records
• Assist with preparing reports and financial documentation
• Support other administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business preferred)
• Prior experience in an office or accounting role is a plus
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data entry
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• H-1B sponsorship is available for qualified candidates
• Chinese Language proficiency is a plus
